It's gotta be free, too.

MediaHuman YouTube to MP3 converter. I use it all the time. Even lets you write ID3 tags through the program.

youtube-mp3.org is simple and intuitive, with no pop-ups.

I use DVDvideosoft to download videos to make gifs from, but it’s a bit sketchy in the download process of the program.

Lol, I’d rather it not be sketchy if I can avoid it :P

Yeah man, that works really well. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you’re okay with command-line programs, youtube-dl does pretty much everything that you could ever want (and then some). It’ll grab videos, turn them into MP3s, embed subtitles, and do a whole load of other neat stuff, not only for YouTube, but for pretty much any streaming site out there. You can also give it playlist URLs or user profiles, and it will grab all the videos from them in one go, too.

I have used http://www.clipconverter.cc/ . Don’t use the accelerator options.

Enter the URL of the video you want, wait a couple seconds, download the .mp3
No spam or viruses or sketchy shit

Ignore the “wait 3 to 4 minutes” that’s crazy. it’s literally <2 seconds for a 3 minute song
